The Lisbon coast is divided into three areas, each one proved to offer high quality golf courses and accommodation no more than a short drive from vibrant capital of Lisbon. The Lisbon coast is becoming one of Europe’s fasted growing golfing area , with the devoplment  of new golf courses both south and north of Lisbon. Location

25 km south of Lisbon, on the coast, a long stretch of beach. Site: Herald da Aroeira, fully ring fenced, 24-hour security service 7-days a week. The apartments are 2 to 4 km from Aroeira I golf course and look over Aroeira II course.

Travel arrangements
With this one, we feel the best option is renting a car. Because you have 2 courses to choose from, note that Aroeira 2 is around 5 Km from the clubhouse, with a car you can go around and discover the beaches that surround the area.

Aroeira I
This is one of two courses in the resort. Personally I prefer this one to the 2nd one, with fewer houses on the back nine surrounding the fairways.

Aroeira II
This course was designed to host some of the European Tour Championships. Besides being challenging you can appreciate the wide variety of architectural styles along the fairways.
