Afonso Freitas My first experience with golf started 20 years ago, when for the first time my dad took me to a golf course. He was playing with an uncle of mine - an American married with my aunt.
You know what’s my first memory about golf?
The shoes!! I was in love with those spikes! Being a kid you can imagine what passed through my mind.
A few years later, I went to the United States as an exchange student for my senior high school year.
That was when I realized the “power” of this Game. Every week for 12 months I went golfing with my host family it was amazing how the passion grew on me, and since then I knew golf would be an important part of my life.
At 26, I had the opportunity to join the team of one of the best golf courses in Portugal, Oitavos Dunes, home of the Portuguese Open. Being at this 1st class course, allowed me to, not only to play golf every day for several years but also to have contact with different kind of players, from beginners to PGA players. It was then I realized most golfers had similar complaints about their operators -- mainly the lack of information provided when booking and also the lack of advices on what to see, go and do while enjoying their holidays.
Having passion for The Game, the know-how and the right contacts we decided to specialise in the Grand Lisbon area and West region of Portugal, by providing a high quality service and tailor made offers to our clients necessities.

Jack Coleman Hi I'm Jack Coleman. I have lived in this area of Portugal for 5 years and just love being here.
I was brought up and worked in London but my first golfing experience was in Plymouth. Every holiday we always used to go and stay with Grandad who had played off 3 for over 30 years. He introduced me to this fantastic game. He bought me my first set of clubs when I was 10 and gave me lots of help to develop a good swing. Since living in Portugal I have reduced my handicap to 8. I now enjoy taking my 4 year old son to the driving range and watching his golf progress.
I would like to share with you, my interest in the game of golf and my knowledge of this area of Portugal and its many attractions.
